The above video is an Animatic depicting the opening scene in the screenplay to an epic 3D IMAX feature film opera adapted from Umberto Giordano & Luigi Illica's world-famous historical Verismo opera Andrea Chénier, which action takes place during The French Revolution (1789 -1794).

The screenplay is authored by writer, principal dramatic baritone and artistic director Dan Gabriello & the Animatic is produced by the storyboard artists Mr. Allan Buch & Mr. Mike Jensen. The intensive drama about social hate, a love so strong between two young people - the poet Andrea Chénier (or in French André Chénier) and the divined beautiful young noble woman Maddalena di Coigny that it in the very end of the drama conquers and prevail death - and the jealousy of Maddalena's servant and teacher .... and later chief of Maximilien de Robespierre's & the Jacobin political fractions secret police Carlo Gérard is simply the perfect story for an epic 3D IMAX motion picture supported by the wonderful music of Umberto Giordano.

Beside an action driven story the screenplay works as at a method for understanding the action and dialogue with visualizing the spoken and sung dialogue making use of spectacular visual effects (CGI) as a part of the overall storytelling. More or less the same method that the world-famous film director Sir Peter Jackson used when he had to visualize the very complicated action in J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Adventure of the Ring" (The Hobbit films and The Lord of the Rings film).
